Job description

ASSOCIATE DENTIST – CARBONEAR DENTAL | CARBONEAR, NEWFOUNDLAND Full-Time | New Grads Welcome | Above Average Draw

The Opportunity

Carbonear Dental is a well-established, full-service practice on Newfoundland's beautiful Conception Bay North shore, with a large active and loyal patient base known for making new associates feel at home from day one. This is a full-time role with a high-demand, broad clinical scope, and a friendly culture.

At Carbonear Dental, you won't just be joining a clinic. You'll be joining a community and full of friends.

Team & Culture

The team at Carbonear Dental is genuinely great — and they know it. Seamless integration isn't a talking point here, it's how they actually operate. The managing partner works parallel days alongside the associate, meaning you'll have experienced support in the building when you need it, without feeling like you're being supervised. Independent, but never isolated.

The Clinical Scope

A solid, well-rounded scope — bread-and-butter dentistry, basic endo, basic oral surgery, and nitrous sedation, supported by two RDHs working nine days a week. Digital X-rays, fully paperless, and a CDA at chairside. Clean, efficient, and everything you need to hit the ground running.

You're the Right Fit If…

  • You have foundation, grit, and the ability to adapt — this team will know it when they see it

  • You're ready to work independently and take ownership of your patients

  • You want to be part of something tight-knit — a team that actually has each other's backs

  • You're drawn to community-based practice and the lifestyle that comes with it

  • New grads are genuinely welcome here

About Carbonear, NL

Carbonear sits on the shores of Conception Bay — one of Newfoundland's most storied and scenic stretches of coastline. Great breweries, incredible scenery, local restaurants worth talking about, and the kind of community warmth that Newfoundland is famous for. It's not for everyone. But for the right person, it's exactly right.

Benefits of Joining Our Team:

  • Associate Development Program: A structured yet flexible learning initiative with curated offerings from top clinicians and mentors where you will receive individualized learning & development plans, Priority access to free in-person learning & webinars, discounted rates on courses and access to Study Clubs and online professional communities.

  • Ortho Acceleration Program & Align Partnership: A strategic partnership with Align Technology that provides exclusive benefits, dedicated learning opportunities and enhanced treatment planning support.

  • Implant Program: Our Associates benefit from customized training and dedicated learning opportunities for implant placement and restoration, supported by our strategic partnership with Nobel Biocare.

  • Network of Experienced Dental Professionals: You will have opportunities for formal and structured mentorship with esteemed team members and colleagues and access to industry-leading experts in various dental disciplines.

  • Path to Partnership: dentalcorp provides a clear path to practice leadership for Associates who wish to move beyond their clinical role and become the business leader of a practice.

About You:

  • Graduate from an accredited DDS/DMD Program or successful completion of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) Equivalency Process

  • Registered and in good standing with provincial licensing requirements

  • Valid CPR certification
