The Paradise Animal Hospital and Wellness Centre in Paradise, NL (suburbs of St. John’s) is seeking an associate veterinarian to join our progressive, busy, small animal practice.  You will find no place more welcoming and accommodating than our lovely province, and our fantastic staff who are sure to make you comfortable. With our current 6 DVM practive we strongly value the bond we have with our clients and their four legged family members. To help you help them, we offer 30 minute appointment times, file dictation and the support of 30 fabulous and knowledgeable support staff (which includes 7 RVT’s and 3 technicians in training). We offer a walk-in service from 8 am to 10 am for urgent care or emergent appointments and rotate our doctors on the schedule to cover these walk-in appointments and we also have 2 of our DVMs that are open to seeing exotic patients as well.

We offer competitive market salary, generous signing bonus, benefits plan, private Employee Assistance Program, up to five weeks’ vacation, 4 day work weeks, paid CE, and paid licensing dues. On Call shifts are shared among 12 clinics.

We are currently looking for two Veterinarians, new graduates are encouraged to apply as we have a very supportive team of veterinarians with strong collaborative team discussion and staff to help smooth the transition into your new career.

This would also be a great opportunity for a newly graduated DVM who is qualified to practice in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
