Information Security Responsibilities

Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage data pipelines to process and transform data from various sources.
Develop and maintain ETL processes and data models to ensure data quality and integrity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
Optimize database performance and troubleshoot any data-related issues.
Ensure data security and compliance with organizational and industry standards.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in data engineering technologies and practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
Hands-on experience with one or more of the following database technologies: DB2, Sybase, or Snowflake.
Knowledge of ETL tools
Experience with Data Migration from Rest API to Snowflake
Experience in storing, managing, and analyzing Unstructured Data
Strong proficiency in SQL, stored procedures, and experience with data modeling.
Experience with cloud platforms and data warehousing solutions.
Familiarity with programming languages such as Python.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
