Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the CF188 Life Support Systems and Equipment Technician is responsible for performing on‑ and off‑aircraft Aircraft Life Support Systems and Equipment (LSS & ALSE) maintenance activities in support of First and Second line maintenance Units.

What will you do :

• Perform work on aircraft life support systems and equipment (on and off aircraft) in accordance with Canadian Forces Technical Instruction (CFTO), technical drawings, work instructions and other applicable technical references;
• Maintain necessary ALSE‑related test and support equipment;
• Keep current with current and new technologies (hardware / software);
• Conduct maintenance activities on related systems, such as :
• Aircraft Life Support Equipment;
• Aircraft Life Support Systems;
• Liquid Oxygen (LOX) System;
• Oxygen Storage;
• Oxygen Purging;
• Fire Extinguishing System;
• Ejection System;
• Windshield and Canopy System;
• Provide hands‑on support to Military and L3 Harris technicians and Units on a required basis;
• Report any un‑airworthy conditions discovered;
• Work in close collaboration with military personnel;
• Carry out duties as directed by the Site Manager and L3Harris.
