Job description

Do you possess customer service experience from working in the manufacturing industry? Do you have a working knowledge of Visual Manufacturing or Infor VISUAL ERP software and have experience with purchase orders, maintaining delivery scheduling and data entry of orders? Then we have the perfect permanent opportunity for you! The ideal candidate for the Customer Service Administrator role will have excellent communication skills and be available to work Monday-Friday, fully onsite in Cambridge, ON.

Responsibilities

Duties for the Customer Service Administrator include :

  • Act as the main point of contact for customers and creating the purchase orders
  • Issue updates on manufacturing schedules to ensure that products can be produced as required
  • Maintain and communicate customer delivery schedules and communicate any changes as necessary
  • Assisting the shipping department with any required freight communication and / or customs documentation
  • Update customer with the forecast and status of products that are being ordered
  • Confirm and check the accuracy of purchase orders in the system
  • Communicate with customers over the phone and through email
  • Follow all necessary steps to ensure accuracy and safety
  • Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of Visual Manufacturing or Infor VISUAL ERP software and handling purchase orders
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent communication skills is required in this role, supporting the shipping department
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to ask questions and find answers / solutions
  • Ability to work well under pressure and continue providing a high level of customer service
