Job description
Titre du poste : Gestionnaire de catégorie (matières premières)
Lieu : Baie D’Urfé, 3 jours au bureau
Horaire : Du lundi au vendredi, 37,5 heures par semaine
Salaire : 50 $ à 55 $/h
Contrat : 6 mois (possibilité de prolongation)
Secteur : Pharmaceutique
Responsabilités :
  • Identifier et gérer les fournisseurs de matières premières en conformité avec les BPF (GMP) et les bonnes pratiques d’achat
  • Diriger la sélection des fournisseurs, les négociations contractuelles et les ententes de prix
  • Développer et soutenir des stratégies d’optimisation des coûts dans le cadre du processus budgétaire et des revues trimestrielles
  • Surveiller les tendances du marché des matières premières, les fluctuations de prix et proposer des plans d’atténuation
  • Préparer et présenter des présentations à l’intention des parties prenantes et de la haute direction
  • Évaluer la performance des fournisseurs et gérer les actions correctives au besoin
  • Assurer la communication des ententes commerciales auprès des différents départements internes
  • Soutenir les revues qualité, mettre en place et maintenir les ententes qualité fournisseurs
  • Maintenir les systèmes d’approvisionnement, la documentation, les prix et les coûts standards
  • Résoudre les enjeux fournisseurs, les réclamations qualité et assurer le respect des modalités négociées
  • Mettre à jour les tableaux de bord, les outils de suivi et assurer l’analyse des écarts de coûts
Qualifications :
  • Baccalauréat ou certificat en gestion des opérations ou dans un domaine connexe
  • Minimum de 3 ans d’expérience pertinente en achats, approvisionnement ou acquisition
  • Connaissance de l’environnement manufacturier et des exigences qualité liées à l’industrie pharmaceutique (un atout)
  • Diplomatie, autonomie et orientation client
  • Axé(e) sur les résultats et l’atteinte des objectifs
  • Capacité d’adaptation rapide et aisance dans un environnement de travail dynamique
  • Bilingue en anglais et en français, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit (requis pour communiquer avec des fournisseurs anglophones et des intervenants à l’échelle mondiale)
  • Maîtrise de la suite MS Office, particulièrement PowerPoint
  • Expérience avec Infor M3 ou Coupa (un atout)

Job Title: Category Manager (Raw Materials)
Location: Baie-D’Urfé, 3 days in office
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: $ 50-55/hr
Contract: 6 months (possibility of extension)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and manage raw material suppliers in compliance with GMP and Good Purchasing Practices
  • Lead supplier selection, contract negotiations, and pricing agreements
  • Develop and support cost?optimization strategies during budgeting and quarterly reviews
  • Monitor raw material market trends, price fluctuations, and propose mitigation plans
  • Prepare and deliver presentations for stakeholders and upper management
  • Evaluate supplier performance and manage corrective actions as needed
  • Ensure communication of commercial agreements across internal departments
  • Support quality reviews, implement and maintain supplier quality agreements
  • Maintain purchasing systems, documentation, pricing, and standard costs
  • Resolve supplier issues, quality claims, and monitor compliance with negotiated terms
  • Update dashboards, reporting tools, and track cost variances
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or certificate in Operations Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in purchasing, procurement, or buying
  • Knowledge of the manufacturing environment and quality requirements related to the pharmaceutical industry (an asset)
  • Diplomatic, self?directed, and customer?focused
  • Results?driven with a strong focus on achieving goals
  • Ability to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast?paced work environment
  • Bilingual in English and French, both spoken and written (required to communicate with English?speaking suppliers and global stakeholders)
  • Experience with Infor M3 or Coupa (an asset)
  • Proficient with MS Office, particularly PowerPoint
