How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Manages purchasing strategies in projects and ensures their implementation.
  • Analyzes the scope of supply and contractual agreements, conducts risk analyses and makes negotiation recommendations.
  • Analyzes customer requests during the bid preparation and opportunity management phases and accurately understands customer functional needs to incorporate supplier innovations.
  • Implements appropriate sourcing and purchasing processes and controls all project purchasing resources and activities.
  • Systematically transmits all relevant information related to project procurement.
  • Monitor and analyze inventory level, transactions and other related aspects to ensure accurate values

What You Bring

  • High Detail Orientation: Essential for auditing contracts, matching PO numbers, and monitoring part master data without errors
  • ERP/MRP Proficiency: Hands-on experience with procurement software (ERP, SAP, APS etc)
  • Vendor Management: Ability to qualify suppliers, track on-time deliveries, manage warranty claims, and handle routine RFI/RFP processes
  • Cost Analysis: Capability to evaluate supplier bids, conduct price/cost analyses, and identify savings opportunities on direct/indirect goods.
  • Negotiation & Persuasion: Resourcefulness in securing favorable prices, delivery timelines, and payment terms.
  • Strong Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills for communicating delays, negotiating terms, and collaborating across internal departments.
