We currently have a temporary opportunity for a Brand Specialist to execute and manage the Private Label Brand Management strategy within assigned categories.

Where You Will Be Focusing

• Responsible for the on time delivery of the end to end brand / product plan from ideation to implementation.
• Executes the brand / product specific strategic business plan across categories.
• Works closely with Procurement Specialists, Product Developers, Regulatory Managers, QA Specialists, and Packaging / Design to bring products from concept to shelf.
• Gains alignment with Category Merchant to incorporate Private Label products into the category strategy and category planning process.
• Support the development of the product plan for assigned categories by supplying key metrics such as sales, trends, etc.
• Responsible for ensuring all brand standards for product, packaging and design are adhered to.
• Supports Marketing to ensure private label presence in the national marketing calendar.
• Acts as an advocate for Sobeys private label brands, both internally and externally.
