Job descriptionMinimum two years of commercial construction experience or a combination of relevant education and field experience Bachelors degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with construction management software Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to read and interpret contract documents, technical drawings, specifications, budgets and project schedules Red Seal Certification in Carpentry Experience in large-scale commercial interior renovations and fit-outs Knowledge of subcontract agreements, local codes, and labor agreements Lead, direct, and coordinate subcontractors and project teams on-site Ensure adherence to project schedules, safety standards, and quality expectations Manage and oversee the site safety program, ensuring compliance with all regulations Supervise, develop, and provide feedback to Field Engineers and interns Create and implement project schedules, including recovery strategies as needed Communicate with project stakeholders to resolve on-site issues and ensure project continuity Oversee and manage project billing, payroll, and subcontractor payment applications Ensure work is completed in compliance with all approved contract documents

Location : Vancouver, BC
Salary Range : $110,000 - $125,000
Overview
We are looking for an Site Superintendent to join our client's team. The successful candidate will support on-site delivery of commercial renovations (TI's) and fit-outs, ensuring project safety, schedule adherence, and quality standards. This role involves leading subcontractors and teams, resolving on-site issues, and managing project documentation and billing. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, leadership experience, and expertise in construction management practices.
