Corporate Communications serves as a trusted advisor across all entitles of Baycrest on matters of reputation management, internal communications, external communications, issues management, media relations, brand promotion and other corporate matters.
The Communications Specialist is responsible for developing and executing communication plans for internal and external audiences that support Baycrest’s strategic objectives across our entities and focus on curating and amplifying the Baycrest brand.
As a skilled and experienced communication advisor, the Communications Specialist works closely with Baycrest subject matter experts and other stakeholders to enhance the overall communication culture.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Create impactful communications content that connects us with our internal and external stakeholders to support stated goals.
- Write, review, and edit a wide array of content for multiple audiences across multiple platforms.
- Provide proofreading / copy editing support to the team.
- Prepare briefing notes as required for media relations initiatives or issues management briefs and other communications materials.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop compelling and engaging digital content with a consistent brand message for digital channels to drive audience engagement.
