Bilingual Communications CoordinatorDuration : 4 months, approx 40 hours / weekLocation : Hybrid, 2-3 days in office (midtown Toronto)Rate : $25-30 / hr.Position OverviewOur professional services client is looking for a Bilingual Communications Coordinator to join their team over the next 4 months, starting end of January / early February. This role is hybrid (2-3 days in office) and approx. 40 hrs / week. Our client is looking for this candidate to enhance their communication strategies and ensure effective messaging across Canadian French-speaking audiences.Key Responsibilities : Develop and implement communication strategies tailored for French Canadian audiences.Translate key communications materials from English to French and vice versa, ensuring cultural relevance and accuracy.Collaborate with PR teams and other department to create compelling press releases and media kits in French.Proofread and edit communications materials to uphold high standards of quality and consistency in messaging.Provide consultation on best practices for communicating with French Canadian stakeholders.Qualifications3+ years experience working in a communications / PR role.Fluency in French Canadian and English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Proven experience in communications, preferably in a public relations context.Strong knowledge of the French Canadian culture and communication styles.Experience in writing, proofreading, translating, and editing communications materials is preferred.Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously to tight deadlines, with an ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment.
