Electrician (Commercial Construction – Contract)

Location: Fraser Valley / Lower Mainland (Langley and surrounding areas)

Schedule Options:

• 4 x 10-hour shifts
• 5 x 8-hour shifts
• Potential for 5 x 10-hour shifts
• Duration: 6+ week contract
• Employment Type: Contract

About the Role

We are hiring skilled Electricians (2nd Year Apprentice and above) for a new commercial construction project in the Fraser Valley. This is a great opportunity to work on a fast-paced, team-driven site, contributing to large-scale electrical installations from rough-in to completion.

If you have strong commercial experience and enjoy hands-on work in structured environments, this role offers consistent hours and a collaborative crew.

Key Responsibilities

• Construct and set up electrical rooms
• Perform conduit bending and installation
• Complete BX rough-ins in office spaces
• Execute steel stud rough-in and cable tray installations
• Install and manage wiring systems, including high-voltage unit subs
• Perform rough-in for walls and ceilings
• Handle large-scale cable runs (., 750 cables, connectors)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Collaborate effectively with foremen and other trades on-site

Requirements

Must-Have:

• 2nd Year Electrical Apprentice or higher
• Proven commercial or industrial electrical experience
• Strong skills in conduit bending and rough-in work
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work physically demanding shifts
• Clear communication and ability to work in a team environment

Nice to Have:

• Experience operating scissor lifts
• Fall Protection certification
• Previous experience working in electrical rooms

Work Environment

• Active commercial construction site
• Physically demanding, hands-on work
• Team-based environment with structured workflow
• Staged onboarding:
  • 3 electricians starting Week 1
  • 3 additional electricians starting Week 2
