Position Title : Group Collections and Commissions Specialist
Reports To : Manager, Group Collection and Commissions
Department : Group Actuarial
Term : Permanent Full-Time
Work Arrangements : This is a hybrid role. You will work in our office in Waterloo, ON, a minimum of two (2) consecutive days every other week, plus a fifth (5th) assigned day per month. You are welcome to work from the office more than the minimum requirement, and some roles may require more frequent in-office presence.
The Opportunity : Equitable is growing! We are looking for a Group Collections and Commissions Specialist for our Group Actuarial team. This role is responsible for completing Group Collection and Group Commission activities. We are a busy team, and we seek your passion, curiosity, high accuracy, and attention to detail. If you thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, we’d love to hear from you.
What you will be doing :
- Handling various Premium Collection and Advisor Payout Tasks, including processing transactions on our administration system
- Collaborating with departments and resolving customer inquiries
- Contributing to bank and premium reconciliations and accounting journal entries
- Processing advisor payouts
- Supporting workload management for the overall Group Finance team
