This recruitment post is for full-time role based at our Manufacturing facility located at Ancaster, Ontario. The incumbent shall be on an Night shift schedule starting at 10 : 00pm until 6 : 30am.

Starting hourly rate is $26.06 / hr with progressive increases over 3 years to current top rate of $31.16 / hr

Role Responsibilities :

Unload, store, open, and dump green coffee beans into the receiving silos

Ensure the proper quantity and type of green coffee bean is always available from the silos

Blend, bag and weigh blended green coffee for outbound shipments

Set-up and safely operate packaging machines including completing start-up checklists

Perform quality checks, including inspection and cleaning of magnets

Complete production reports

Perform basic machine adjustments and maintenance

Stage, load and unload finished product and raw materials using forklift

Inspect and receive incoming deliveries, including completing In-bound checklist

Replenish processing and packaging lines with necessary materials and take away finished goods

Complete accurate records for all outbound shipments, including Out-bound checklist

Follow all Health and Safety, GMP and food safety policies and regulations reporting any deviations to the Supervisor

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

Ability to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment

Strong attention to detail

Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs (22.7 kg) is required

Proven track record of reliability and safety

Effective verbal communication skills and the ability to read and follow written instructions

2 or more years of experience with production and packaging in the food industry is strongly preferred
