Job description
We are seeking a high-performing Bu Manager to spearhead market growth and oversee strategic sales activities within a designated Canadian territory. This role is designed for a proactive leader who can bridge the gap between technical mineral processing solutions and client-specific operational needs. You will be responsible for driving revenue by providing expert consultation on specialized industrial technologies, ensuring that every client receives a tailored suite of services and equipment. Beyond standard sales, this position requires a visionary mindset to identify market trends, suggest innovative product enhancements, and implement LEAN processes that maximize efficiency. If you are a results-oriented professional who thrives on building long-term partnerships and navigating complex technical landscapes, this opportunity offers the autonomy to manage your territory as your own business unit.

Advantages
Autonomy & Flexibility: Benefit from a results-driven schedule where your success is measured by achievements rather than rigid clock-in times. Strategic Impact: Influence future product development by providing direct market feedback to the innovation team. Comprehensive Professional Growth: Enhance your technical expertise through advanced training in proprietary reporting and diagnostic tools. Travel Opportunities: Engage directly with diverse industrial sites across the territory, including participation in major trade shows and corporate summits

Responsibilities
Territory Leadership: Direct all sales operations within the region to consistently meet and exceed organizational growth targets.
Technical Consultation: Act as a primary advisor for clients, utilizing advanced diagnostic reporting and maintenance check tools to optimize their operations.
Client Relationship Management: Maintain a high-frequency onsite presence through regular travel and face-to-face consultations to ensure total customer satisfaction.
Operational Excellence: Champion LEAN methodologies to streamline sales workflows and manage personal budgets and expenses with high fiscal responsibility. Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activity and industry shifts to propose creative solutions and new product requirements.
Safety & Compliance: Execute all duties with a strict commitment to provincial health and safety regulations and corporate safety standards.

Qualifications
Educational Background: A College Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Technical Sales, or a related field is required.
Industry Expertise: Proven experience within the mineral processing or industrial equipment sector is desired.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in negotiation, machine applications, and market analysis are essential.
Communication Mastery: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to conduct public presentations and high-level price calculations.
Critical Thinking: Strong problem-solving abilities (weighted at 30% of core skills) to resolve workplace challenges and implement effective solutions.
Software Skills: Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and client presentations.
