Description
Are you known for your service mentality, your ability to establish good business relationships, your commitment and your interpersonal skills? Then, the position of Service Representative, Group Insurance at iA Financial Group may be for you.
In this role, you will build relationships and loyalty with plan sponsors and ensure that they are fully satisfied of their experience. You will interact with plan sponsors and advisors on a daily basis regarding our products, tools and services. You will be a key member of the Group Insurance service team.
Main responsibilities :
Act as a dedicated contact for West of Canada clients by establishing, developing and managing valuable relationships with them, and follow up with the different internal teams.
Understand client expectations and identify valuable solutions within iA Financial Group's capabilities and service standards.
Communicate regularly with clients and proactively inform them of our products and services as well as any changes, legislative or otherwise, that affect the plan.
Provide in-depth client training on our products, tools and services.
Use your strong communication and social skills to manage client expectations.
Collaborate with the Education team to develop communication plans to identify needs / issues, potential improvements or opportunities to increase member participation and / or engagement in their plan.
Collaborate with the sales team in the development of new business by preparing and actively participating in finalist presentations to prospects.
Establish, implement and maintain our service model and strategies.
Participate in internal meetings or workshops and share your experiences, knowledge and advice.
Ideal candidate :
University degree (BA) and 5 years experience in group insurance or customer service.
In-depth knowledge and experience of group insurance.
Valid AMF License or if you do not have the certification the willingness to obtain this License within one year of your start date
Understanding and experience of Lean philosophy (A3, Kaizen and DMS)
Advanced French and English language skills, both oral and written, enabling regular collaboration and interaction (35% of time) with internal partners and French and English-speaking customers, as well as meetings with the decision-making center in Toronto and Halifax.
Ability to work under pressure
Excellent organizational skills, autonomy and team spirit
Experience in managing relationships with clients
Ability to build trusting relationships
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including PowerPoint
A valid driver's license and reliable access to a vehicle
