Job description

Call Center Team Lead – Damage Insurance

Are you a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills? We are currently recruiting for one of our clients, a renowned organization specializing in cost management, claims processing, and medical assistance services.

What is in it for you :

  • Annual salary from $63 700 to $71 000 based on your experience and skills.
  • Annual performance bonus paid at the end of fall, based on your results and the profitability of the company.
  • Permanent, full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8 am and 5 pm, with the possibility of on-call work or additional shifts as needed.
  • Hybrid role requiring 3 days of office presence each week. During the 90-day probationary period, full office presence is required for optimal integration.
  • 3 weeks of vacation from the first year.
  • Comprehensive benefits available after 90 days, including dental and medical insurance, as well as additional services such as chiropractic care and massages.
  • Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) with an employer match up to 4% of your salary.

Responsibilities

You play a key role in managing and guiding a team of 15-20 claim evaluators specialized in rental vehicle collision and damage insurance, purchase insurance, and extended warranty protection. You ensure an exceptional customer experience by maintaining the quality and accuracy of services from claim initiation to resolution.

Your main responsibilities include :

  • Supervising and ensuring compliance with service standards and team objectives, aligned with the company’s strategic vision.
  • Monitoring individual and collective performance and providing regular feedback.
  • Managing team schedules and attendance.
  • Identifying training, coaching, and employee development needs.
  • Developing and optimizing team-specific processes and guidelines to ensure efficiency.
  • What you will need to succeed :

  • Bachelor’s degree in administration or equivalent experience in management.
  • 2 years of experience in a team supervision role.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English (required).
  • Ability to effectively use English for inter-office collaboration, particularly with teams located in Windsor, Ontario, as well as for communication with international departments, including those in Miami, Mexico, and other locations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Word and Excel.
  • Excellent ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with rigor and organization.
  • Strong orientation towards excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Proactivity, autonomy, and ability to work in a results-driven environment.
  • Knowledge of management principles, call center performance metrics, and property and casualty insurance claims (an asset).
