MatchBox Consulting Group is looking for a Civil Engineer in North Vancouver, BC. Our client is a consulting firm specializing in civil engineering and land development, tackling projects across diverse terrains in the Lower Mainland and beyond. They focus on delivering efficient, high-quality solutions while fostering collaboration and professional growth.

Responsibilities

Design and manage civil systems for land development projects, including water, sanitary, drainage, and roadways.

Conduct technical analysis, prepare designs, calculations, specifications, and budget estimates.

Coordinate with municipal standards, consultants, and utilities such as BC Hydro, Telus, and FortisBC.

Lead projects from start to finish, overseeing technicians and EITs while managing multiple deadlines.

Engage with clients to understand their requirements and ensure compliance with municipal design standards.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and eligibility for P.Eng. registration in BC.

7+ years of experience in land development within Canada.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D for municipal infrastructure and design.

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with sound judgment.

Ability to travel for client meetings, inspections, and progress reviews.
