Job description

Java Holdings is seeking a Systems Analyst & Implementation Lead to own the analysis, design, and delivery of both corporate and project-based systems across companies within the Java Holdings group. This role is ideal for an accomplished Systems Analyst ready to expand their scope into solution ownership, we are looking for someone who enjoys moving from problem definition through to system configuration, deployment, and adoption.

You will analyze business processes and information flows, translate requirements into practical system designs, and define automated workflows that reflect real-world business rules. Working closely with stakeholders, you will clarify ambiguous requirements, challenge assumptions, and design scalable, maintainable solutions that support both operational and project needs.

If you are a Systems Analyst who wants greater responsibility, deeper project ownership, and the opportunity to see the systems you design fully implemented and used, we want to talk to you.

What Success Looks like…

· Requirements are properly documented and formatted for system configuration.

· System Design reflects real world situations and exceptions.

· Improve system adoption through efficiency in system creation.

Reporting to the Director of Systems, this is an office-based position located in Nisku, AB. Travel within Canada may be required from time to time.

Requirements

Requirements

Core responsibilities:

· Analyze current state processes, software and workflows to identify inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities, and translate findings into optimized system designs and automated processes.

· Partner closely with stakeholders and end users to capture, clarify and validate system requirements.

· Collaborate closely with system administrators, developers, process improvement leads, and training teams to ensure solutions are technically sound, usable, and aligned with business needs.

· Coordinate and track implementation work to ensure requirements, configuration, testing, and deployment remain aligned throughout delivery.

· Act as the primary point of ownership post-deployment, supporting change management, prioritizing enhancements, and coordinating ongoing system support.

Qualifications & Experience

· Proven experience collaborating with construction and operational stakeholders to define system requirements.

· Strong business and systems analysis skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

· Comfortable operating in dynamic environments, adapting solutions as priorities and requirements evolve.

· Hands-on experience implementing, configuring, or supporting M-Files or other Document Management systems is considered an asset but not required.

Preferred Education & Certifications

· Diploma or degree in Business Systems Analysis, Information Systems, or related field.

· PMP or ITIL certification

The job description detailed above encompasses the core responsibilities of the role. It is not all inclusive and additional responsibilities within the scope of the role may be defined as required in alignment with the Java Director Systems
