Job Summary
The Team
The Corporate Financial and Facilities Services (CFFS) Branch is a collaborative and established team of approximately 40 staff across four units : Accounting and Reporting, Financial Planning and Analysis, Financial Operations & Procurement, and Facilities. CFFS provides expert financial, accounting, business advisory and facilities services, acting as a facilitator of ministry business operations. The team's work supports organizational success, offering meaningful opportunities to contribute to impactful initiatives.
The Role
The Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) plays a vital leadership role, guiding the financial operations of the organization with integrity, accountability, and expertise. This role combines strategic planning, financial stewardship, and operational excellence to support government priorities and ensure responsible resource management. With the opportunity to shape proactive financial strategies and collaborate with an exceptional leadership team, this position is ideal for individuals passionate about making a meaningful impact in public service finance.

Education and Experience Requirements
- Professional accounting designation CPA - CA, CGA, CMA, issued by a Canadian Accounting Association Note : if your designation was obtained from outside of Canada, you will need to confirm it has been assessed for equivalency through an applicable Canadian Accounting Association.
- A minimum five (5) years in progressively more challenging leadership roles in a large organization directing a wide range of activities including related relevant experience in two (2) or more areas of :

This position is based out of the location listed above.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to three (3) days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
