Position Overview
The Chief Financial Officer - Commercial Operations (CFOCO) plays a pivotal role in BWXT Canada’s success, providing financial leadership and strategic direction for a business that powers critical energy solutions. This leader serves as a key strategic partner and guides the financial performance of Commercial Operations and translates strategy into measurable results. The CFOCO oversees planning, analysis, reporting, and risk management while driving performance and operational excellence. They will shape the segment’s financial vision, build strong partnerships across the business, and enable data-driven decisions that support BWXT’s responsible and sustainable growth.
Location : On-site in Cambridge, Ontario
Effectiveness of the role at BWXT :
- Driving Performance : The CFO will enhance financial rigor and accountability by linking strategy to measurable results and fostering ownership across business units.
- Strategic Partnership : As a key advisor to the President and leadership team, the CFO ensures that financial insight and risk management are embedded into all operational and strategic decisions.

The base salary range for this position in Ontario (CA-ON)at the start of employment is expected to be between $200,000 and $300,000 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and / or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment.
