Edmonton Catholic Schools is accepting applications for a primary teacher (Grade 1 - 4) at Kisiko Awasis Kiskinahamawin. Kisiko Awasis Kishinahamawin is located in the Grave Flats area, in west-central Alberta, approximately 3.5 hours from Edmonton. This position is a temporary, full-time, 1.0 FTE position with an expected end date of January 01, 2025.
Edmonton Catholic Schools requires all teachers (substitutes and contract teachers) to be Catholic unless specialized in the following areas :
Career and Technology Studies (CTS) and Career and Technology Foundations (CTF)
Lived Indigenous Experiences
Languages (Cree, French, Spanish, and Ukrainian)
Music (Elementary and Secondary)
Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (Must be major)
Interested candidates that have a Bachelor of Education Degree and a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate are encouraged to apply. The following application documents are required :
