HCR Permanent Search is currently working with a top manufacturing company in Toronto who needs to hire a Plant Manager. To be considered, you will need experience as an Operations Manager / Plant Manager while being employed with an automotive manufacturing company that has stamping and welding processes. To attract the best talent, my client is offering a competitive pay rate ($130,000 - $145,000 / year), a good benefits program, 4 weeks of vacation to start and a place where you can grow your career.
This role is 100% on site
Job Requirements
- University Degree or College Diploma in a related discipline is preferred.
- 5 years of work experience with a tier 1 or tier 2 automotive manufacturing company that has stamping and welding processes
- Experience in a management capacity where you were responsible for the P&L
- Experience with a continuous improvement methodology (TPS, Six Sigma, Red X, etc)
- Working knowledge of IATF 16949
- Experience interacting with various government agencies (MoL, MoE, Fire Department, Police, etc.) as well as outside contractors
