BCI is seeking a Manager, Organizational Change Management to lead organizational change initiatives andcontribute tobuildingenterprise-wide change management capability.You'lldevelop and implement change strategies, design communications plans, and deliver training programs that drive business outcomes whileactivelysupporting employees through transitions.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Employee Experience & Inclusion (EE&I), the Manager, Organizational Change Management (OCM) works with members of the OCM team and stakeholders to deliver on BCI’s OCM mandate and plan to enable enterprise change management capability. The individual plays a key role in ensuring BCI meets desired business outcomes byprovidingsound management advice,toolsand support to the organization. The Manager works toidentifyand address people, organizational, process and technology impacts at BCI, whilesupporting organization-wideinternal communications andchangemanagement.

The Manageris responsible forproviding organizational change management for assigned projects and business initiatives. The roleis responsible forthe identification and development of OCM plans for these projects, hands-on execution of OCM activities, provision of OCM support, and working collaboratively with project teams to ensure achievement of businessobjectives.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Execute on BCI’s Organizational Change Management mandate and plan and enable enterprise change management capability

  • Continuously improve and update OCM plans andmodifychange management activities based on stakeholder feedback and input

  • Provide advice and guidance to senior leadership on change strategies

  • Provide coaching at all levels/roles to develop change competencies within the organization

  • Effectively manage change,facilitaterelationships, and build consensus to achieve the desired business results

  • Help to define,captureand understand change impacts of various projects at BCI including impacts on stakeholders and any barriers that must be overcome, including any behavioural shiftsrequired

  • Engage stakeholders to gain their support in championing change and ensuring its implementation and sustainment across the company

  • Liaise with communications, project managementofficeand other functions to align people and change strategies

  • Provide hands-on change management support and leadership to a portfolio of corporate projects

  • Partner with business owners, project leads, managers, contractors and other BCI stakeholders to implement change management activities

  • Provide sponsor support and change leadership coaching to management teams

  • Plan, execute and support change management activities asappropriate toproject complexity, change impact and stakeholder needs

  • Advise,empowerand guide project managers and teams to implement change management strategies as part of effective project planning and implementation

  • Engage stakeholders to gain support and buy-in to support effective implementation and sustainment of change

  • Develop and implement strategic communication plans to support specific projects or change efforts

  • Draft, distribute and manage various communication tactics and channels

  • Develop and implement training plans as required to support acquisition of knowledge & skills related to change plans

WHERE YOU WILL WORK

This role can be basedineither our Victoria or Vancouver office, with a strong preference for Victoria.

SALARY RANGE

The annualized base salaryrangefor this role isCAD$124,000 - $144,000.

BCI offers a competitive total rewards package, including a performance-based incentive plan, comprehensive health & dental benefits, a defined benefit pension plan, and paid time off. We pay our people competitively in the markets in which we operate and with consideration for internal equity and job structure. The base salary will consider factors such as the individual's skill set, experience, and internal equity. We aim for actual pay to be around the market median for expected performance and the upper quartile for excellent performance. Actual salaries may vary based on experience and expertise.
