Intent of the process

The intent of this process is to fill current and future vacancies with various employment tenures.

EDUCATION

ED1. Possession of a valid applicable provincial / territorial or Interprovincial Journeyperson Certificate in one or more of the following : insulator, carpenter-joiner, electrician, electrician and linemen, electrician and electrician specializing in security systems installation, refrigeration technician with halocarbon environmental qualification, pipe fitter or plumber.

• A military DP-2 equivalent qualification for applicable trades.
• NOTE : Applicable trades for a military DP-2 equivalent qualification are Plumbing and Heating Technician, Construction Technician, Electrical Distribution Technician, and Refrigeration and Mechanical Systems Technician.

EXPERIENCE

EX1 : Experience in repair, maintenance, inspection or installation of systems and equipment related to the trade(s) to be filled
