Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality ultrasound imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to obtain the best diagnostic results.
  • Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures to ensure comfort and understanding.
  • Review and analyze images for clarity and accuracy, ensuring they meet diagnostic standards.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Adhere to safety standards, including infection control and patient safety protocols.
  • Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program or equivalent.
  • Registered with CMRITO (College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario).
  • Member of Sonography Canada with Canadian credentials or actively completing Sonography Canada's Canadian Clinical Skills Assessment (CCSA) to obtain credentials.
  • Preferably 1–2 years of hands-on ultrasound scanning experience.
  • Strong understanding of ultrasound physics and technical skills to operate imaging equipment.
  • Skills and Abilities

  • Proficiency in general, vascular, and / or obstetric ultrasound (as required by the role).
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to provide excellent patient care.
  • Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team.
