The Four Points by Sheraton - Kelowna Airport is currently looking for Host/Support staff.

We are also on a bus route, with a stop just outside of the hotel.

Our complimentary shuttle also picks up our employees from the bus loop at UBCO What will you be doing?

The Host/ Support position supports front-of-house and food service operations to ensure a smooth, welcoming, and efficient dining experience.

This role includes hosting, food running, and expediting duties.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, the associate maintains service flow, cleanliness, and guest engagement in a fast-paced environment.

Greet guests with a warm and friendly attitude Assist in seating guests and managing waitlists using tools like OpenTable Answer basic guest questions about menu items, dietary needs, and restaurant services Be aware of special guest requests (e.g., birthdays, anniversaries) and communicate with the service team Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area Run food from the kitchen to guests, ensuring plates go to the correct person without auctioning off Organize and support the expo line to maintain food quality and presentation standards Coordinate food timing and flow between kitchen and service staff Restock and maintain service areas such as the coffee station and pass Clear and clean tables quickly and reset them for the next guests Maintain tidiness of all guest-facing and back-of-house areas Empty garbage bins, handle recycling, and change linen bags as needed Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols Understand basic causes of food contamination and practice safe handling Assist with in-room dining deliveries and banquet setups: including event setup & takedown, serving and participation in off-site events Communicate guest feedback or special comments to servers and management Support team members during busy periods by anticipating needs and helping where necessary Help monitor table turnover and guest flow to maximize seating efficiency Use basic functions of the POS system to support order entry or payment Stay informed on basic hotel information, restaurant layout, and special promotions Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or managers What are we looking for?
