Job Description
As a Senior GIS / CAD Specialist at FLINT, you will play a key role in supporting our Environmental Services team by creating figures for environmental assessments, managing and processing data, and producing accurate reports and deliverables. This role can be based in any of FLINT’s offices or remotely within Alberta.
What would you be doing?
- Conduct spatial analysis and create and interpret 2D / 3D models, including groundwater diagrams, drill plans, and risk maps in AutoCAD, ArcGIS Pro, and / or Civil 3D.
- Generate reporting figures for environmental assessments and remediation plans.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the accuracy of deliverables and perform quality assurance / control.
- Review and analyze field data, such as field notes, sketches, borehole logs, etc., to produce accurate report figures and manage GPS coordinates for maps and work plans.
- Precisely edit data through digitization, scanning, and conversion in compliance with standardized processes.
- Other projects and assignments as required.
