We are seeking a CAD Technologist to create and maintain manufacturing drawings in a dynamic production facility. You will collaborate with engineers, technologists, and operation personnel to translate design concepts and operational requirements into detailed technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Inventor/AutoCAD drawing files, customer supplied drawings and parts system libraries
• Maintain and update drawing filing system – Autodesk Vault (PDM)
• Assist in the development/maintaining of drafting standards
• Check new drawings and documentation when required and ensure correctness and conformance to the latest ISO specifications.
• Requisition material by providing accurate and timely sketches and specifications for long lead time raw materials and purchased goods.
• Preparation of production related information including Drawing Release, Material Requisitions, Profile Point Data etc.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of drafting technical and time standards
• Troubleshoot problems with workflow, drawing specifications and layout.
• Production support
• Reverse engineering of parts

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 Years of Proficient Inventor/AutoCAD Experience
• CAD Technologist Diploma
• Microsoft Office Suite literacy
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Inventor
• Knowledge of the use of Coordinate Measuring Machines/Tools will be considered an asset

• Capability to work with moderate supervision in a fast paced environment
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Proven ability to organize and facilitate multiple projects in an accurate timely manner.
