Wood in Saskatoon is currently recruiting for an  Electrical / Instrumentation Designer - Junior to join our Minerals, Metals and Life Sciences group . This is an entry level position suitable to recent graduates or those applicants with up to 5 years of experience. Graduate of an Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering Technology program, or of a related Design / Drafting (CAD) program.

Registered with Technology Professionals Saskatchewan as an Applied Science Technologist ( or Certified Technician ( is preferred.

Up to 5 years experience in Electrical, Instrumentation or Control System design for mining, metallurgical or similar process industries.

Prior use of AutoCAD; familiarity with 3D design / drafting would be considered an asset.

Everyday use of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Experience with databases is beneficial.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Team player, but also able to work independently and take responsibility.

Able to work efficiently and effectively when managing multiple tasks in a highly scheduled environment.

Authorization to lawfully work in Canada without sponsorship from Wood is required.
