We are looking for a Relationship Manager - Corporate and Institutional to join our Cash Management team in Edmonton or Calgary!

As a Relationship Manager - Corporate and Institutional, you will be part of the team that is accountable for growing, managing and maintaining the credit union's portfolio of large enterprise and not-for-profit organizations, public sector banking arrangements and wholesale deposit fundings. The portfolio consists of complex cash management arrangements and institutional investors.
The Corporate & Institutional team will help Servus grow through targeted portfolio diversification, developing new relationships in accordance with the organization's deposit funding needs and liquidity management objectives. The successful candidate will be required to provide corporate feedback on emerging trends in cash and treasury management services. The individual ensures the area and services facilitated comply with regulatory requirements and internal policy and procedures.
The individual will have primary responsibility for the acquisition and development of new relationships with average depository needs in the range of $5 million and up and / or those requiring custom cash management solutions. The individual will be the lead relationship manager on these accounts.
The employee is required to have in depth knowledge of all cash management and business payment services and associated rules and guidelines.
More specifically, the scope of responsibilities will include the following :
- Responsible for the development and implementation of a marketing plan that contributes to the credit union's deposit funding and liquidity management objectives including corporate, institutional, municipal and public sector markets.
- Develop and maintain an effective business acquisition and community involvement strategy by establishing a network of referral sources from centres of influence (COIs) which could include business or other associations, accountants, lawyers, etc.
- Contribute to the management and administration of the Public Sector Cash Management RFP process relating to investment and full banking service opportunities while ensuring competitive profitable pricing practices are maintained.
- Drive new member relationships that meet and fit Servus’ liquidity requirements and determine appropriate member deposit pricing by making informed recommendations.
- Work directly with the treasury department to ensure that acceptable competitive and profitable pricing practices are implemented when onboarding new or maintaining existing institutional members, guided by the credit union's liquidity management strategy.
- Develop and implement a solutions-based approach to fully explore and meet the needs of our business members.
- Drive member wallet share with new and existing members by establishing, maintaining and growing the relationships and engaging key partners as required.
