Position Overview :

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Business Development Representative to join our team. A family-owned company known for its supportive and approachable leadership, is expanding its sales team to meet growing market demand and refine its territory strategy. This role is ideal for a driven individual with a track record in sales, ideally in building materials, to enhance our presence in Washington.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Growth : Identify and cultivate new business opportunities in the designated territory.
  • Client Relationship Management : Foster strong, long-term connections with clients.
  • Industry Expertise : Gain and maintain an in-depth understanding of glass and building materials, staying current on industry trends to support clients effectively.
  • Revenue Objectives : Focus on driving consistent sales growth through targeted strategies and lead generation.
  • Performance Reporting : Track sales activities and client insights, providing regular updates to senior management.

Key Sales Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience : 5+ years in business development or sales, ideally within building materials (e.g., glass, granite).
  • Skill Set : Excellent negotiation and communication abilities capable of working independently and within a team.
  • Additional Assets : Golf skills can be beneficial for networking in the industry.
  • Education : Degree or certification in business, sales, or a related area is preferred.
