We are seeking a driven Business Development Representative to expand our B2B client base and promote our diverse offerings.

Job Summary :

We are looking for a proactive Business Development Representative to drive sales and build lasting client relationships. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B sales, a basic understanding of computers, IT services, CCTV systems, network infrastructure, and consumables, and a passion for self-marketing. This role involves direct client engagement through in-person meetings, phone calls, and emails to generate leads and close deals.

Responsibilities :

  • Promote and sell CDC Computers’ offerings, including computers, IT services, CCTV camera systems, network infrastructure, and consumables, to businesses in Winnipeg and surrounding areas.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through in-person visits, phone calls, and digital campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, understanding their technology needs.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential leads and target industries, focusing on businesses requiring IT and security solutions.
  • Create and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to client requirements, highlighting the benefits of our products and services.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure solutions meet client specifications and expectations.
  • Utilize CRM for lead tracking, client communication, and accurate record-keeping.
  • Track and report on sales performance metrics, including pipeline growth and conversion rates.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and advancements in IT, CCTV, and network technologies.

Requirements :

  • Basic understanding of computers, IT services, CCTV camera systems, network infrastructure, and consumables (training provided to enhance knowledge).
  • Proven experience in direct B2B sales through in-person, phone, and digital channels.
  • Strong self-marketing and prospecting skills to independently generate leads.
  • Fluent proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle (preferred) for client visits.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools.
  • Knowledge of Winnipeg’s local business landscape and technology market is an advantage.
