We are currently looking for a dynamic Field HR Business Partner (HRBP) in Surrey British Columbia or surrounding area . Ideally, you are a commercially minded individual who can continue to build a culture of excellence, build capabilities and influence Operational leaders.
As the Field HR Business Partner (HRBP) , you will be instrumental in supporting our teams across various restaurant locations. The role requires a dynamic HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to enhancing organizational effectiveness through HR practices. Your expertise will guide our leadership and employees in all facets of HR, with a special focus on employee relations, compliance and talent development.
This position will require local travel across British Columbia to effectively support HR initiatives and partner with Operations Leaders at various restaurant locations. Approximately 60% of your time will be dedicated to site visits, which will on occasion require overnight stays and air travel. The position also allows for a flexible work arrangement, with around 40% of your duties being manageable from a home office setting. Please note that this position may occasionally require weekend or evening shifts to align with operational needs and special projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Execute HR strategies that support operational goals of various restaurant locations.
- Manage a wide range of employee relations, ensuring legal compliance and adherence to company policies.
- Drive recruitment efforts, onboard new employees and implement retention strategies that enhance employee engagement.
- Partner with operational leadership on HR matters.
- Provide coaching and development opportunities for restaurant managers and crew members.
- Coordinate with the HR team to streamline process and improve efficiency across the organization.
- Effectively communicate HR-related information to key stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment with organizational goals.
- Draft and manage a wide range of HR correspondence, internal communications, and formal notices, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and consistency with company standards.
- Interpret and apply the provisions of Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBS), for unionized restaurants.
