The position
We are looking for an M2 Mechanic Licensed Technician to be responsible for assembling, disassembling, and able to repair various mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Other key responsibilities include :
- Detect structural, mechanical or hydraulic aircraft problems and adjust and repair the problems according to specifications, technical drawings, manuals and procedures;
- Repair and overhaul structural, mechanical or hydraulic aircraft systems;
- Install and modify aircraft engines or other aircraft systems such as mechanical and hydraulic systems, flight control, fuel systems and pneumatic systems;
- Dismantle airframes, engines or other aircraft systems for repair, return to a good condition, clean and reassemble them;
- Perform routine maintenance and report / write up defects and order parts;
- Check aircraft structural and mechanical systems and ensure that these systems meet the performance and safety standards of Transport Canada and MRO Services Windsor;
- Monitor quality of operations, identify anomalies and make necessary corrections;
- Perform surveys of parameters; Read and interpret the parameters;
- Actively participate in the organization's Safety Management System (SMS), including reporting safety hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand and promote the company safety policy;
- Keep detailed reports on the repair, inspection and certification of aircraft;
