Job Description

You will be required to perform the function(s) of Purchaser. As such, some of the duties and responsibilities, but not limited to, are listed below :

• Entering parts in quantum.
• Re-check with technicians for discrepancies in parts list and quantities.
• Sourcing parts including entering quotes in quantum
• Sourcing chemicals and procure them as required.
• Establish new suppliers.
• Maintain approved vendor list and ensure vendors meet Aeropol’s Quality requirements
• Check with CMM for alternates parts or NHA’s.
• Check / Verify paperwork (trace and certs)
• Verify physically stock available when low.
• Negotiate prices with suppliers.
• Create Purchase Orders (get approvals / signatures)
• Place orders and expedite when necessary
• Follow up on “urgent” shipments
• Fill CC authorization forms as well as End User Statements
• Request extra paperwork if needed (any documentation after parts are received)
• Request RMA and return parts to Vendors when necessary.
• Purchase of cores when needed.
• Create Templates when required
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by Management.
