Job Description
Senior Project Healthcare Manager - Vancouver.
Collaborative Search is presently working with a firm in Vancouver who are an architecture and interior design firm seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager who shares a passion for creating innovative workplace spaces for clients, as well as projects in the hospitality, commercial, healthcare Senior Living, Industrial, transport sectors, to be a key part of their success.
Responsibilities :
Respond to RFPs and EOIs.
Prepare fee agreements and design contracts.
Develop project criteria, scope of services, work plans, schedules, and resource requirements.
Plan project team utilization and allocate tasks.
Coordinate consultant documentation.
Manage project design fee budgets and costs.
Negotiate fees for additional services.
Take responsibility for risk management.
Ensure zoning, by-law, and building code review.
Support on-site contract administration.
Coordinate with authorities having jurisdiction.
Chair design and production meetings.
Mentor staff in project management.
Manage client relationships.
Ensure peer reviews are conducted at project milestones.
Qualifications :
Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or Interior Design.
Licensed with a provincial regulatory body preferred with the ability to seal and sign all instruments of services.
Familiarity with Design-Built and other alternate project delivery methods,
Minimum of 8 years of project management experience in a related field such as Architecture or Interior Design, healthcare planning knowledge is essential,
Familiarity with the various healthcare authorities with working methodology.
Permit application knowledge,
Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
Experience with project management software and delivery software MS Project.
Experience managing projects to meet aggressive schedules.
