Lead Pastor

Position DescriptionWe are searching for our next Lead Pastor. Our church has approximately weekly attendees and is located in the picturesque seaside community of Parksville on Vancouver Island, BC.The Lead Pastor is one of the elders of the church and, as such, works collaboratively with the elder board to provide leadership and direction to the Parksville Fellowship Baptist Church (PFBC) membership & affiliates to ensure that church outworkings demonstrate congruency with the church’s belief statement that “God is real, and that changes everything.” This individual is responsible for monitoring ministry effectiveness in keeping with this belief statement. The lead pastor role focuses on engaging, equipping, and empowering the staff / volunteer team and congregants to work together.
