Job Title : Field Technician - Project Work
Type : 7-month contract
Location : Edmonton, AB. No reporting to an office. Tech will be travelling 50 to 75-km range
Target start date : ASAP
Days / Hours : 9 AM to 5 PM - Tuesday to Friday - 32 hours per week
Pay Rate : $25.00
Paid mileage : $0.55 / km - Mileage will be paid if the technician is assigned to multiple locations on the same day. No mileage will be paid from home to the first site and back home.
Responsibilities :
Performing maintenance on ATMs (e.g., card reader, printer, reset and test devices, etc.).
Electromechanical repair.
Performing basic installation functions (e.g., set up and test equipment, pulling cables, mounting devices, installing
locks)
Performing technical fixes such as clearing paper jams, card jams, bill jams, etc.
Inspecting products for correct operation resolving noted issues and escalating according to established
procedures
Prioritizing and planning service calls
Works within a team environment, completes all required paperwork, manages, and maintains service parts inventory
Contacting the customer with the estimated time of arrival
Working with customers to ensure satisfaction with service delivery and understanding of product functionality
Following key / alarm / combination control processes in assigned area of responsibility
Qualifications :
Must have a valid driver's license
Must have a reliable vehicle
Must have PC skills and preferably Electro-Mechanical skills
Specific Project training will be provided.
Must have basic tools and experience
Must be able to work on your knees in an ATM / frequent bending over
Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in close quarters within and around the equipment.
Ability to successfully pass a background check
