We are committed to supporting people with disabilities and their families to build meaningful, self-directed lives. Our work is grounded in the core values of respect, collaboration, accountability, and creativity.

We are seeking a Director of Finance & Administration to join our Executive Leadership Team and play a critical role in advancing our mission through strong financial stewardship, governance, and strategic leadership.

This role provides strategic and operational leadership across all financial functions, ensuring transparency, compliance, and sound decision‑making in support of person‑centered services. The Director also provides financial and operational oversight of the Association’s housing portfolio, including the administration of housing subsidies in partnership with the City of London and oversight of property and related expenditures.

  • Ensure strong performance management, training, succession planning, and cross‑coverage
  • Build effective working relationships across senior leadership, management, and partner agencies
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable legislation, including the Employment Standards Act, Pay Equity Act, CRA requirements, and MCCSS funding conditions
  • Oversee payroll accuracy, statutory reporting, and benefit remittances
  • Lead annual external audits and maintain audit and funding readiness
  • Oversee financial systems including SAGE and QuickBooks

Strategic Planning & Innovation

  • Collaborate with senior leadership on long‑term financial strategy and organizational growth
  • Support individualized funding models (including Passport) and service expansion analysis
  • Provide financial guidance related to workforce planning, benefits, insurance, and organizational risk
  • Align financial frameworks with evolving service models and housing initiatives
  • What You Bring

  • Post‑secondary degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Accounting designation or advanced certificate preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably in a non‑profit or developmental services environment
  • Strong knowledge of non‑profit funding models, payroll, and employment legislation
  • Advanced expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Exceptional judgment, discretion, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage complexity across multiple entities and priorities
  • Additional Requirements

  • Eligibility to work in Canada
  • Bondable
  • Valid driver’s licence and acceptable driving record
  • First Aid & CPR + AED (or willingness to obtain)
  • Alignment with the Association’s Mission, Vision, and Values
  • Why Join Our Team?

Influence strategic decisions at the highest level

    Competitive compensation and benefits

Contribute to an organization committed to inclusion, accountability, and innovation
