Our client is searching for a Sales Associate to join their team. This role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end sales process for various products within the hospitality sector. A successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and clients.
Your success will be defined by your ability to :
Actively develop leads within the hospitality industry for your assigned customer base
Delegate the preparation of and submit comprehensive bid documents, ensuring alignment with client requirements
Attend exhibitions across Canada and the USA
Engage in continuous follow-up with clients to address inquiries, provide additional information, and secure signed order documents
Ensure all necessary confirmation documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner
Review shop drawings and collaborate with clients and team members to ensure accuracy and alignment with client expectations
Redline drawings as necessary and request updated drawing versions from the assigned team member
Follow up on the in-house picking, packing, and shipping processes, ensuring products are prepared for delivery in a timely manner
Coordinate closely with client and logistics teams to guarantee timely and accurate shipments
Provide clients with regular updates on delivery schedules and shipping details
Address any concerns or inquiries related to the delivery process
Proactively follow up with clients post-delivery to ensure satisfaction
Address any post-sales issues promptly and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution
Initiate and manage payment requests, ensuring compliance with payment schedules
Delegate and collaborate with the sales support team to create accurate and comprehensive quotations for client review
Coordinate with the logistics teams to estimate shipping costs for client quotations
Follow up with your manager on production for overseas manufacturing, ensuring quality and timeline expectations are met
Your strengths include :
High School Diploma is required
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, or a related field is preferred
Proven experience in roles involving consultative selling and written and verbal communication
Familiarity with CRM systems
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment
