Job descriptionCompletion of a two-year college diploma or equivalent experience. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Email, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with ERP financial modules, preferably Visual Manufacturing. Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Ability to produce quality work (on-spec, on-time, on-budget). Proactive involvement in continuous improvement processes. Self-motivated with a positive attitude and the ability to multi-task. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. Tenure : Full-Time, Permenant
Location : Hamilton, ON
Salary : $55,000 - $60,000 / year
Responsibilities :
- Assist in developing, implementing, training, and documenting accounting policies and procedures.
- Process vendor invoices, resolve discrepancies, and enter invoices into the accounts payable (AP) system.
- Prepare cheque run review files, generate cheques, and mail them to vendors.
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status.
- Assist in preparing customer invoices for shipments.
- Follow up with customers for overdue payments.
- Enter and reconcile bi-weekly payroll time sheets.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
- Support the year-end process.
- Participate in annual inventory counts.
- Maintain corporate archive records.
