Day in the Life

As an AZ Driver, you will begin to know the highways like the back of your hand, as you will be responsible for transporting precious cargo, operating and driving straight and articulated trucks, loading/unloading materials, and operating tack trucks for paving operations. Strong communications skills will also be necessary as you coordinate with clients, customers and dispatch.

When you are not driving, you will be conducting daily circle checks on vehicles, cleaning, and performing equipment maintenance but safety will be your number one priority. It will also be important to stay organized when completing daily timesheets and log books.

Enjoy the sunny weather and beautiful views of Northern Ontario while operating state of the art equipment, traveling around the area.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Valid AZ driver’s license and clean abstract
  • Previous driving experience
  • Knowledge of the Highway Traffic Act and municipality by-laws

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to lift 50lbs
  • Mechanically inclined

Compensation

$30.00 - $34.27 per hour
