Your function Our client, a Laval-based company specializing in the design of conveyors and Cap-Feeder systems, is currently looking for a QHSE Manager for a permanent 40h / week position.
As part of the management committee, you will report to the site manager as well as to the OHS USA department. Your main responsibilities :
- Oversee and implement Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) practices. - Ensure legal and regulatory compliance in terms of health, safety and the environment. - Conduct internal and external audits, as well as incident investigations. - Promote a culture of QHSE excellence among employees and stakeholders. - Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report results to management. - Maintain and improve ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems. - Oversee building maintenance and manage the associated budget. - Act as main contact with external bodies (CNESST, certification bodies, etc.). - Lead COMEX meetings (this position is part of the company's Executive Committee). - Management of 2 people
- The use of English is required for this position for the following reasons : Communication with international customers : As some of our customers are based abroad, you will be required to communicate regularly with them in English, both orally and in writing. Working with English-speaking partners : You will be required to work with English-speaking suppliers and partners to monitor orders and manage contracts. Drafting documents in English : You will be responsible for drafting reports, proposals and contracts in English, for our international customers. Your professional skills :
