Job Description
What You’ll Do :
Reporting to the Manager, Applications, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our technology landscape. This position involves designing and managing innovative technical solutions that drive business success. As a Solution Architect, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technology, ensuring our solutions are scalable, reliable, and future-proof.
The Core Parts Of Your Role Will Be To
- Collaborate with stakeholders : Identify, translate, refine and unify business requirement from various business units into technical solutions that align to business goals and overall technology strategy.
- Design high-level application architecture : In collaboration with Enterprise Architecture, design and document high-level application architecture frameworks and Reference Architectures, ensuring alignment with organizational strategies.
- Leverage Azure Cloud Services : Design and document scalable and secure technology solutions leveraging Azure Cloud services that meet business needs and align to overall architecture and business strategies.
- Foster Collaboration : Engage in the Enterprise Architecture Community of Practice, fostering collaboration and sharing of best practices across architecture teams.
- Participate in governance process : Actively participate in Enterprise Technology Governance and Architecture Review processes, contributing to decision-making and promoting architectural best practices.
- Evaluate and select technologies : Continuously evaluate and select technologies, tools, and frameworks that suit ongoing project needs and strategic objectives, ensuring alignment to the overall evolution of the enterprise technology ecosystem.
- Manage strategic roadmap : Develop and manage the strategic roadmap for applications and integrations, conducting architecture reviews to identify risks, deficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Map application footprints : Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to map application footprints and relationships between applications and define integration points across enterprise applications.
- Mitigate risk : Identify and mitigate risks in solution designs and implementations using proactive problem-solving to address function and non-functional concerns. Leverage application monitoring facilities to ensure stability and performance while managing costs.
- Ensure architectural alignments : Ensure architectural alignment with enterprise standards and policies to ensure security, resiliency, redundancy, availability, and scalability to support business objectives.
- Stay updated : Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
