Eligible for CPSO license
Specialty residency training
Eligible or holder of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification Exam
Eligible or holder of the Licensure by Provincial or Territorial Authorities / Medical Council of Canada.
Your primary duties :
Provide services for General Surgery, Endoscopy, Orthopaedics, Urology, ENT, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and Dental Surgery.
Organize the administration of anesthetics before, during, and after surgical procedures with surgeons on duty.
Liaise with other medical professionals (surgeons / specialists / family physicians) to decide which anesthetic to administer to a patient at any time.
Examine the patient and obtain every necessary medical history.
Order to carry out all necessary tests like laboratory tests, x-rays and other diagnostic processes.
Use diagnostic tests to determine risk(s) during medical procedures.
Determine when and if a patient is well enough to leave the recovery room.
