As we expand operations to Montreal, we’re seeking a driven and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to play a key role in establishing a high-performance warehouse culture and driving operational excellence.
Position Summary : The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations while working closely with our B.C.-based Operations Manager. This leadership role requires someone who can both strategize and execute, ensuring that all processes are efficient, safe, and aligned with company goals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and develop a high-performing warehouse team.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure all staff are trained and certified in required areas (e.g., First Aid, Dangerous Goods, Forklift operation).
- Maintain and promote a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.
- Coordinate with carriers and manage shipping and receiving logistics.
- Implement lean warehouse practices to minimize waste and inefficiencies.
- Open and secure the warehouse daily.
- Generate revenue through the sale of abandoned freight via platforms such as eBay and Amazon.
- Ensure timely completion of all receiving, shipping, and consolidation activities.
- Perform other duties as required by operational needs.
