What you will do :
The Ad Operations Manager manages the digital online / mobile ad operations team to optimize direct sales and guaranteed programmatic initiatives to deliver accurate audience forecasting including Cineplex CDP data and custom audience segments for targeted ad placements, manage campaign trafficking, reporting and analysis as well as advertiser and client billing and discrepancy resolution.
In addition, the Ad Operations Manager will be the key contact with external partner Wired Carbon who manages the Google Ad Manager platform used for audience forecasting, campaign trafficking, and reporting to ensure all campaign placements conform to current Digital Industry and Google restrictions and regulations.
Ideal candidate must have expert knowledge of Google Ad Manager. Must be able to provide customer focused solutions using technical expertise, problem-solving skills and communication skills.
This is a hybrid position (3 days in the office). Office location is 1303 Yonge Street, Toronto.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Ad Operations team and its primary functions - forecasting, trafficking, reporting, and analysis.
- Champion and grow Cineplex's advertising revenue across digital online and app platforms in collaboration with Sales, Operations, Digital Products, and external vendors.
- Lead pricing strategy - manage the rates and client strategy to maximize yield.
- Manage all aspects of reporting, invoicing, and billing of advertisers and partners and address discrepancies and resolve disputes.
- Facilitate troubleshooting between support teams, technology, and partners and lead all UAT, pre-stage, and tests.
- Generate data-driven insights and develop tools to streamline the operation and optimize inventory.
- Manage first party data and proprietary custom segments and explore upsell opportunities.
- Work with D&T and Marketing to provide dedicated support for client tag management including floodlight tags and pixel implementations.
- Ensure Cineplex is aware of new Digital technologies and trends, maintain documentation for any updated ad unit and technology adopted and train Ad Ops team on any new Digital functions and processes.
- Ensure Cineplex's advertising policies, rates, and both Cineplex and Industry Ad standards are met.
