Job description

Position Summary

Are you ready to reach new heights and take your nursing career to the next level? Utilize your leadership, organization and problem solving skills while overseeing the day-to-day clinical operations at Prince Rupert Regional Hospital.

The Manager, Acute Care Services is responsible for the management, leadership and coordination of services for the areas within the assigned portfolio. This includes responsibility for the management of staff and resources and the provision of leadership and consultative advice in clinical care, operational and administrative activities of the service(s); ensuring that services are delivered and implemented in an effective and efficient manner and meeting established strategic directions and organizational initiatives and objectives in a manner aligned with the organization’s culture, values and strategic direction.

  • Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing plus five (5) years recent related experience plus post basic education in management, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Current registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).

Starting salary will be approximately from $146,529 to $159,875 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.

Prince Rupert Regional Hospital is a 24-bed facility that sees an average of 22,000 ER visits per year. It is a fully equipped facility with Medical Imaging, Laboratory, ICU, ER and Maternity. Services include :

    Qualfications
