As a dynamic and rapidly growing organization, we are looking for a dedicated and skilled Accounts Payable Manager to join our Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to be a key player in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Accounts Payable (AP) department, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement across all processes.As the Accounts Payable Manager, you will directly supervise the AP team, taking ownership of the department and overseeing all aspects of the accounts payable function. You will ensure timely, accurate processing of invoices and expenses, maintain strong vendor relationships, and uphold best practices in internal controls and financial management.What You’ll Do : Lead, mentor, and support the Accounts Payable team, ensuring the efficient management of the AP process across multiple North American entities.Oversee the timely processing of invoices, ensuring the proper resolution of internal and external inquiries with a customer-first approach.Administer the corporate credit card program and oversee weekly processing of employee expense claims.Maintain and reconcile accurate vendor records and general ledger entries in compliance with company standards.Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and internal controls, safeguarding company assets and reducing the risk of financial discrepancies.Monitor and drive continuous improvements within the department, identifying process gaps and recommending solutions to enhance operational efficiency.Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insightful vendor analysis to support financial decision-making.Lead projects related to accounts payable automation and process optimization to improve accuracy and efficiency.Assist with year-end audit preparations and ensure the timely provision of audit documentation.Support ad-hoc tasks and special projects as required.What We’re Looking For : A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable, with a strong understanding of accounting principles, balance sheet accounts, and vendor relations.At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role within an accounts payable environment, demonstrating effective team management and performance optimization.Post-secondary education in Accounting or a related field (preferred).Strong working knowledge of financial controls and procedures in the accounts payable cycle.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with vendors and colleagues at all levels across the organization.Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a high-performing team.A well-organized, detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (Intermediate to Advanced level), is essential.Experience with SAP Concur, Microsoft Dynamics GP, or similar procurement and expense management software is a significant asset.Why Join Us : You matter, we support you.
